F for "Faith"

What is Faith

Earlier I said Faith is unquestionable belief.  True for any religion it is mandatory.  If someone says that a religion is based on facts start questing them.  Here is why?

First and foremost all religion talks about life after death.  Either it is rebirth or raise to heaven or hell. Do anyone has solid proof for it or so called "Facts" the answer is a big NO.  So fundamentally it is "Faith" like setting an alarm to wake the next day.

So let's ignore death and life after death for now and look into other beliefs.

1. Christianity "Virgin Mary" and "Resurrection of Jesus" both one has to have faith you can't dig into facts here.
2. Hindu's dwell in faith of God having extra heads, hands etc.
3. Jew's the great exodus splitting of red sea.
4. Jain and Buddhism are relatively free from miracles it's more of way to live.
5. As far as Islam is considered it is split across two lines one believes in miracles  and the other believes in word of God.

Conclusion:

But All believe in one thing in common that is "A LIFE AFTER DEATH" without which no true religion can exist. So faith means to accept what cannot be proved as"Facts" or accept what one can not prove irrespective of his best efforts.

F for Faith Continuation

Why Continuation?

Well Faith though I concluded in my second positing still I am continuing with it today.  Read an article about toddlers who use to laugh wildly when thrown in air by their parents and many says that it is because of faith which the child has. In this case I don't think "Faith" is the factor but rather "FUN" is.

A toddler may or may not be aware of their parents but they do recognize familiar faces especially their mother and the one's who are close to their mother.  When my first son born he was called as son of my wife's name, my name was ignored.

Do "FUN" lasts NO.

So a toddler loves fun part and as long as the fun part persists thrown in air they feel like flying and giggle laugh a lot.  When they grow a bit older tend become serious and then  the next part came into being "Fear" they understand height and fear heights.  I am petrified of heights.

So how does this applies in religion, well nice question?  The answer is that people question faith when they loose the "Fun" part in their own religion.  One of the reason why there are celebrations like Christmas, Deepavali, Eid or New Year celebration it is to rekindle that "Fun" part.

But then still why people look into other religion or sect may be the "Fun" part is more or extravagant.  So they tend to look over their shoulders and change so that they can have more of "Fun".

More will continue.

F for France

A detour from original Concept?

Today I am writing F for France not that I am detouring from original concept but trying to know why there is so much of bomb blasting in France.

Refer Wiki  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_France

A total of 6 in 2015 and already 5th one committed as of now.

From time in memorial they fought war on religion Catholics Vs Protestant and plenty of blood shed happened.  Now the anger between Catholic and Protestant is down but is replaced by the terrorist act of Jihadist.

Brixit

Their neighbor England is relatively calm with less bomb blast from Jihadist though they also have history fight between Roman Catholic and Protstant.  Probably because of tighter immigration control and could be probable reason why they voted for Brixit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Great_Britain#2010.E2.80.93present

It looks like that the British chose wisely to jettison themselves from European Union.

Conclusion:

When there is trouble we normally isolate that particular issue example if someone is sick he is given a room to rest or taken to hospital.  Even in hospital the more severe one are isolated from the rest.

In other words the good or normal people are isolated from those who are sick or injured.  So Britain chose it to isolate itself and leave the sick behind in European Union.

F for Faith

Do we need to Question faith?

There is more to write about Faith but less to question about it.  If you have faith you don't worry or care to worry about the so called facts.  You just have faith and go about in your life or in your faith.

Say first example of faith on a day to day basis.  We have faith of living tomorrow that is why there is a alarm set up in your mobile to wake us up.  We book advance tickets on faith for travelling and for entertainment. We bid "See you tomorrow" in faith only.  Come on fellows anything can happen between from one second to another second so between today and tomorrow.

So if one has faith in their own religion he need have to look into another religion either for "Facts" or for "Fear".  It goes true for all religions Buddhist, Christian, Jew, Jain,  Hindu, Muslim, or any other sect.  I maintained just an alphabetical order and mentioned few order sect which came to my mind nothing else. This may also create furor in few peoples mind let's park it aside for now.

Conclusion:

So the conclusion is I do not question faith.

If one has Faith there is no need to look into other "F's" but some where something is missing. We never get satisfied do we?

Also have the attitude of looking over on others plate.  This is where it gets tricky either we look or try something different or force some one else to practice what we do.

As faith is getting is reduced or questioned it is compensated either by "Fear" or "Facts" and the so called religious teachers and scholars come into play.

Faith << = Fear or Fact

The "F" Factor

Why this Post

After a long trauma on whether or not to write this post, finally I decided to write come what may. The world is tearing itself in the current scenario of religion.  It was believed that third world war will be fought for fresh water but I believe that the third world war is literally in progress on religion grounds.

 War is here

Why this title

After deciding to write I was wondering on the title and the first thing that came to my mind was the "F" factor on religion.  Many scholars go around giving lot of the so called "Facts-F" about their own religion.  Some like Zakir goes one more step he points out so called "Facts-F" on other religions and show why his religion is superior.

Well to be honest "Facts" in religion does not exit.

In my opinion there are two "F's" in religion.

"F" Stands for

One F is "Faith"
And the other F is "Fear"

This is for introduction more will follow.
